Unearthing the supernatural heritage of the Wesleyan movement

Well remembered is the day when John Wesley felt his heart “strangely warmed” upon receiving assurance of his salvation. Methodists and Wesleyans the world around celebrate this each year on Aldersgate Day. Yet surprisingly few know that about what happened seven months later at Fetter Lane…

“We praise Thee, O God, we acknowledge Thee to be the Lord.”

— John Wesley, 1 January 1739

Telling the lost stories of the Holy Spirit

Millions can trace their spiritual heritage to the revivals of the Second Great Awakening. This era of great spiritual momentum was accompanied by many of the “signs and wonders” we read of in the book of Acts: healings, exorcisms, and various other miracles. Though the preaching of Revivalist leaders is well chronicled, these testimonies of the Holy Spirit moving miraculously have been largely lost and forgotten. FetterLane.com exists to be an online repository for these moments of a Heaven touching down on Earth.
